mp.dx

Description

or how the Burmese would say သေးသည်အခြားသယံဇာတအထုပ်

mp.dx (and including mp.essentials) is a big collection of convenience nodes solving a lot of common problems for vvvv.

NOTE: while it is still useful, maintenance is sparse for this pack, I still fix bugs which found and can be dealt with easily.

github: https://github.com/microdee/mp.dx https://github.com/microdee/mp.essentials

Get them with vpm

mp.dx Rendering related nodes mostly for DX11 but there are some utilities for DX9 too

mp.essentials Essential lower level utility nodes for everyday patching

While it is possible, manual installation is tedious and absolutely not supported. If there's a problem with VPM please report it in Github issues or in VPM's contribution page

hi!

\packs\mp.dx\nodes\plugins\DX11Utils\x64\DX11Utils.Native.dll is blocked by Windows Secutiry because of Trojan:Win32/Spursint.F!cl

is that correct warning?

interesting I never had that, obviously it's false alarm but I'll have a look on virustotal. In those DLL's I'm not doing anything "trojanish" afaik. Here are the sources btw https://github.com/microdee/mp.dx/tree/master/src/DX11Utils/DX11Utils.Native And the Virustotal report: https://www.virustotal.com/#/file/3f9d29617bf9e5de6c84cfad4f0646e9b1b63ca7de8127b18278bcec925c1ad4/detection

@microdee yeah, thanks! something wrong with my windows defender. added an exception for the dll, but then do you have any ideas why it might not working? The patch is from FBX4V pack but it refers to DX11Utils,Native.dll from mp.dx

I used vpm as recommended ;)

FBX4V is currently under hold for a moment until I update my modules to the new enum system. sorry about inconveniences. I have so much shit to sort out + work that I don't know when I will get to FBX4V. I'll open-source it shortly as well. Also at the time I was lazy to create the DX11 resources inside the plugin, but a C++ only node for FBX4V meshes is on my bucket list.

@microdee No need to say sorry! Thanks!

I'm getting red nodes for PreprocessorOptions (File), trying to use FillHoles. Got latest version off GitHub. This is with beta 42 and Win10 x64. Should it be there or is it replaced with something else? Thanks!

-edit-

Doh! Never mind, I had just copied new version over old, using vpm fixed it. (Though the help patch for PreprocessorOptions still has a red Disney node in it.)
