Description

This Pixelshader simulates a digital glitch on the GPU. It has 5 different distortions layed on top of each other and meltet randomly.

I simply tweaked ,added some FX to enrich the picture in more different ways and for now - i enjoy the results and hope that it might be usefull to someone. Playing around with glitches became a hobby to me. Maybe someone wants to join and help improving.

@idwyr cool!!! please do so...maybe we can have an advanced texture fx that has all the necessary FX in it...Roughly guessed my antenna seems to have about 12 different versions which happily destroy my girls Greys anatomy. Especially in summer. lol.

The Filter here is now at 5. As you see the current filter FX do a lot with Color and pixel shifting.

Additionally it would be cool to generate noised or randomized pixel sets which flood the image like that:

So if anyone has an idea how to flood an image in a noisy way that still relates to the original - please try

thank you

Niceeee... I´ve trying to do some glitch stuff, non shader based and on DX9, using AsRaw(texture)+AsString(Raw) and then something like a getspread with a randomspread interviening the raw data from the texture and finally a Dynamictexture(Raw). Kind of random results (which is cool), and some flickering that I couldn´t get rid of...

Glitch Floodfill try

-UGHHHH very nice...makes me really happy to see that it can be usefull!!!

at 0.07 u see in the video that there is vertical segments fixed at x coordinates at the right side of the image...i fixed this and upload a new version later...

also i still work on my floodfill distortion (thats how i call those images that F$%§ everything up closely before you loose connection)...here is a sample of my current status... it has actually what i was looking for - generative senseless mixed with relationship to original.

@ggml: Concerning sex and the city...try on own risk...dont know if a simple dx11 pixel shader can handle this...but ill suggest distortion amount = 1;
